Mike Schuhler is a California native raised in the Midwest. He is the author of Purgatory, a novella about a cursed island in Lake Superior, as well as short fiction including Waiting Out the Storm and The Monolith.

Mike is a member of the Horror Writers Association and a retired United States Marine. He currently resides in Texas.
